Podangis dactyloceras is a unique vandaceous orchid that belongs in it's own genus podangis. It originates from Africa evergreen forests near abundant water sources in Tanzania, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Angola, Nigeria, Guinea and Ivory Coast.
It's closely related to many in the Vandeae tribus, so roots can be aerial, mounted, or semi-hydro. If bareroot, keep humidity in the environment higher. No rest period, however, blooms are induced by a drop in temperature between day/night.
