Winter Shipping Guideline
Winter shipping Guidelines
- There is no winter shipping for XL orchids (i.e. Large Phals in Spike or anything larger than 24") and standard size Vandas. Items too large will be automatically removed.
- Orders will not be held until spring. Orders will ship as soon as temperature allows (Above -8 °C overnight express). Please indicate any blackout shipping dates if you are unavailable to receive the order in the cart notes. We can delay shipping appropriately.
- If any orders are held, items in the order are not eligible for refund and will not have a credit to the spike charges, unless plant is deemed unhealthy to ship. More items can be added prior to shipping date. Any refunds will be subjected to 10% processing fee under our discretion.
Heat Packs

Heat packs are required if your night temperature drops below 9°C. Heat packs are complimentary on orders over $150 (before shipping + tax) Heat packs are $3.99 - for the heat pack and upsizing the box to prevent overheating. Thus, to make the most of your shipping cost and heat pack, we recommend purchasing 3-4 S/M size plants. Orders will be held if temperature of destination is below -9°C overnight. |
Shipping options

We ship our orders with UPS, please choose 1 day (overnight) transit time option as our heat packs can sustain 72 hours so service. We may switch carrier if the carrier predicted transit time exceeds 2 days. If the shipping cost is exceptionally high, we can look into Purolator or Fedex, as UPS does not service some remote areas. If there is absolutely no option to deliver your package within 2 days, we unfortunately may need to cancel your order and reorder in spring/summer. |

Hold for Pickup at a depot If you are unavailable to receive the package immediately and don't have a conceirge, another option is to contact your nearest UPS store and ask if you can HOLD FOR PICKUP at their station. This can prevent your box travelling in an un-heated delivery truck and potentially sitting at your doorsteps for long periods. Please leave a message in the order notes and use their address as the shipping address. We will ship directly to the access point. |
