Phrag. xerophyticum is a highly sought after rare Mexipedium originating from Mexico. It has two variation with different parents but blooms are relatively the same look and colour. Like most phrag, pot in a airy permeable substrate.

🌡 Temp: Intermediate 12-28°C (full range) 16-25°C day - 14-18°C night with 2-4°C difference day/night. 

☁️Humidity: 40%-60% recommended, but can go down to 35%

💧 Water: Wet to damp cycles. Avoid full hard dry (occasional ok)

💡 Light: Bright indirect (East Morning or Sunset Light direct, Mid-summer day indirect) year round.  Artificial supplementary light recommended in winter or low light homes. 10-12 hour or increasing light period help induce flowering (Same as phalaenopsis or so)

🌰Media: Plant purchased from us will be grown in our << Roe Terrestrial mix >> Avoid repotting to disrupt growth. Media can be altered to personal preference when time to repot.

🧪: Fertilize: When it's actively growing in vegetative stage - typically when a top leaf emerges and growing. We recommend MSU & Marphyll rotation in low dosage every other watering and allow water flushing in between.
