Size Guide

*Cultural and care information based on average  Miltoniopsis care, use it as guide and should be adapted to suit your environment

💚Difficulty: Advance
🌱Size:  Medium to Large (indefinitely)
🌸 Blooms: Fragrant, Large blooms, vibrant red
🌱 Grown by: Mericlone, low variability
🧬 Genetics: Mps. vexillaria (30%) + Onc. leucochilum (25%) + Mps. phalaenopsis (13%) + Onc. noezlianum (13%)

🌡 Temp:  Prefer Intermediate to cool (flex but keep 4-5+°C difference day / night). Should not exceed 25°C for extended days.
💧 Water:  Always moist to wet, but cycle fresh water when approaching dry. Use RO or distilled water or rain water only. When mature, can keep wet in semi hydro or self watering pot. They do not like salt build up. Signs of underwatering if new growth has accordion-like pleating.
☁️Humidity: 50%+min
💡 Light: Bright indirect (East Morning Light)
🌰 Media: Flexible epiphytic media - Bark (Phal.) mix, Sphagnum moss, Tree fern. Water retentive media preferred or top off so the media does not dry out too quickly.  Semi hydro water reservoir is very helpful
🧪: Fertilize: When it's actively growing in vegetative stage - typically when a new growth emerges and growing rather than following seasons as these are intermediate to cool growers they will often grow over winter. We recommend MSU or Marphyll rotation in low dosage every other watering and allow thorough flushing with distilled water in between.
