Den. capituliflorum (syn. ophioglossum) is a species of Dendrobium orchid native to New Guinea. It has unique clustering with multiple heads of blooms, and can produce soft light green-yellow to white flowers. Its long lasting blooms and hardiness make it a favorite of orchid growers.

✨ Tip: There is no winter rest period needed. Although they are deciduous and will leave leafless canes, and exhibit winter rest traits similar to other dendrobiums, they can also have keiki growing simultaneously.  It is normal for this species to have several pseudobulbs with no leaves at all. 

🌡 Temp: Intermediate-Cool to Hot (very flexible, however make sure day/night difference is ~4-8C). Follow the natural seasonal temperatures. 
💧 Water: Wet/Dry cycle. Water when approaching dryness, does not requires full dry out. More roots, more water. Use leca to create a water reserve, roots will grow into water and create a semi-hydro set up. 
☁️Humidity: 25%+min tolerable, if watered correctly or semi-hydro reservoir available.  Higher humidity is
💡 Light: Medium direct (SouthEast/West Light, avoid strongest 2-3 hours of the day during summer. Winter allow maximum direct light exposure and supplementary lights to lengthen light period)
🌰 Media: Flexible, sphagnum moss or bark mix
🧪 Fertilize: Hibiki is usually always growing in vegetative stage - We recommend MSU & Marphyll rotation in low dosage every other watering and allow water flushing in between.
