Epiweb synthetic sphagnum is synthetic growth substrate for direct replacement of natural sphagnum.  Prolong potting medium / reduce repotting frequency with this thus reducing stress of root exposure and rerooting.  Will not decompose like real sphagnum.  Roots love it!
