Paph venustum v. alba is a green and white variation of the Paphiopdilum venustrum. Found in Assam India, northeastern Bangladesh, the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Nepal and Yunnan China, often near streams and crotch of trees.  It's a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid that blooms in late winter and spring.  The album form is unable to produce anthocyanin (the red pigment). The foilage also have interesting patterns.

This is a great choice for slipper orchid beginners.
