Often called the “Gautemalan Lapenthes” for the region in which it is found, this miniature orchid can be spotted in the forests of Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador at elevations of 1350-1850 meters above sea level. Small, but not to be underappreciated this orchid can produce stunning displays of flowers when it blooms in the summer period.
