Native to Peru and Ecuador, this Maxillaria has one of the most beautiful unique foliage patterns in its kind.  The white spotted pattern will emerge more pronounce as the orchid matures. Blooms are just as fragrant and unique, coffee faded brown-yellow petals with a fresh fragrant scent in the morning.

Maxillaria, epiphytes with a sympodial growth habit, is one of the largest genera of New World orchids. The generic name is derived from the Latin maxilla (jawbone) since the lip and column resemble the jaws of insects. -AOS
