Ctsm. spitzii 'SVO Gold' FCC/AOS x Ctsm. spitzii 'Apricot'

Based on the cultivar parents, should be leaning to more yellow bloom.

Found in Brazil and Bolivia at elevations up to 800 meters in subtropical forests. It is a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with short, fusiform, to 12 cm long and 5.5 cm wide pseudobulbs carrying several, plicate, narrowly elliptic, acute, to 38 cm long and 8 cm wide leaves.

It blooms at the end of their active growth cycle, usually in fall / winter but the cycle can be off and can bloom other times of year.  Rest periods can vary in length but allow an optimal environment during rest period and will likely have a shorten rest period.  During growth give abundance of light and water and it will grow vigorously.
