 Ctsm. sanguineum 'Monkey Face' x Ctsm. sanguineum 'Excellent Shape'

A fantastic orange Cycnodes (Catasetinae family) hybrid (Cycnoches chlorochilon × Mormodes badia) that is easy to grow and flower. Produces sprays of large scented orange flowers. Great entry choice for beginner into Catasetinae orchids.

It blooms at the end of their active growth cycle, usually in fall / winter but the cycle can be off and can bloom other times of year.  Rest periods can vary in length but allow an optimal environment during rest period and will likely have a shorten rest period.  During growth give abundance of light and water and it will grow vigorously.

🧪: Fertilizer: Slow release fertilizer works well. Or increase fertilizer (dosage or frequency) as watering volume increases. Flush every other week to avoid build up in water reservoir

 Tip: Rinse leaves heavily during peak season. Leaves produces a sap build up when grown under low humidity and will attract unwanted guests
