Ctsm. pileatum 'Pierre Couret' HCC/AOS x Ctsm. pileatum f. alba 'Snow FCC/AOS

Catasetum pileatum is native to Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador usually found on hot, humid lowlands.

It blooms at the end of their active growth cycle, usually in fall / winter but the cycle can be off and can bloom other times of year.  Rest periods can vary in length but allow an optimal environment during rest period and will likely have a shorten rest period.  During growth give abundance of light and water and it will grow vigorously.
