An alba variation of the Encyclia tampensis, or Tampa / Florida butterfly orchid, native to Flora, Bahamas and Cuba, is one of the most abundant epiphytic orchids in central and souther counties along waterways. Blooms are fragrant, about 2" wide, striking green petals with a white centre lip, usually in spring to summer. Can be mounted.
