Alocasia Cuprea is a tropical plant native to Bornea, but found throughout Asia and South America. It's name derives from Latin term Cuprea, "copper or copper-coloured" for its unusual coppery appearance. Leaves are more copper-toned in juvenile stages, and can turn into a deeper turtle green as it matures.
